Rock's Background
After a lengthy and successful law enforcement career of 30 years, Rock possesses valuable, first-hand knowledge and experience of the many life challenges that families and individuals must manage. This unique quality, combined with his off-duty experiences with his own family adversities, separates him from any other consultant. We can relate to what you are going through and encourage you to partner with us instead of trying to do it all on your own.
While serving in the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department for 16 years, Rock's tour included various sworn positions inside the jail facilities, court facilities, patrol stations and the training bureau. During this time, Rock earned his Bachelors degree in Business from California State Polytechnic University where he studied Finance, Law, Real Estate and related civil contracts. He has also accumulated hundreds of additional collegiate hours of education related to caregiving.
After his LASD tour, he then took a break from his career to raise his two small children as a stay at home dad for 4 years. When another opportunity became available, Rock returned to policing, this time with a small city agency in Orange County, the Laguna Beach Police Department. This is where he settled in as a police officer, working the sworn patrol assignment, and handling all types of criminal and civl matters for the next 14 years before he retired.
During his career, he helped countless individuals, families and businesses cope with and resolve a variety of caregiving aspects involving elders and the disabled. In addition, he frequently partnered with other agencies, experts and professionals from the local, county and state levels. He was consistently recognized as an outstanding Deputy Sheriff and Police Officer, and was the 2018 recipient of the annual Police Officer of the Year Award. He continues to perform at a high level, which he will do for you today, as one of the best consultants in the field of Caregiving Management.
